Subject: MOTM Numbering Rationale

From: "Tkacs, Ken" <Ken.Tkacs@...>

I have a question about the numbering of MOTM modules. Obviously there's
some method behind the madness, but I'm wondering what the "official"
designations-if any-behind the 'hundreds' digit means. Some categories are
more obvious than others.

Here's a weak stab at it from observation:

100 - Miscellaneous? (Noise, S&H, VCA, RM, Divider?)
200 - Reserved
300 - Oscillators
400 - Filters
500 - Reserved
600 - Reserved
700 - (Switching?)
800 - Controller / CV Sources
900 - Support (Power, Patching)

Please don't tell me to "Go search the archives" because I did a while ago
and found nothing <g>.

It seems the 'tens' digit is "Function type" and the 'ones' is "Revision
Number."

Best regards to all.
