Hey gang...
That bus show in Oakland was a blast...it was packed with 90 people in it and LOUD. I
brought my 1500w JBL PA system and cranked it. It was part of a west coast tour with The
Thrones.
I just feel that it's important to get out of the house with yr MOTM system and play shows
with it...not just noodle around at home...even if yr recording all the time you have to
bring the thing into the world...people have to see the wonder of modular synthesis
live...and not just at a Radiohead stadium show!
This year I'm doing a direct to lathe recording with Alessando Cortini for the Infrasonic
Sound label that's going to be totally improv...
I'm also going to be playing and writing with the !!! (Chk Chk Chk) guys for their next on
Warp Records.
Also a follow up to my PPM record "...Plays The Modular Synthesizer" that again will be all
MOTM(with some Blacet, Cyndusties, Encore help) that I think is going to be called "MOTM
And Friends". What do you think?
And EP for the Teenage Teardrops label that is actually going to be more song structured.
Also a full length for 31G from San Diego thats run by a bandmate of another MOTMer,
Joey Karam. They are in the Locust...Joey is the BEST synth dude in the world right now!
Get out and play yr MOTM's live this year!!!
