Raxxess make a 16 hole drilled rack panel (1U tall) with holes for 16
1/4" jacks, I have used this panel and made for sets of 4 linked jacks
for exactly the purpose you stated. The panel costs about $7 and the
jacks and coax cost be another $16. It can all be assembled in less than
an hour.
