it seems sometimes that some of the stuff I type was typed by someone else!

I'm not sure if the filtering inlet will really be worth the extra bucks
either. I guess if I ever find myself doing some hard core German industrial
music and the electric drill and cutoff saw are plugged into the same
outlet, it might help keep the line noise out of the synth . . . but . . .
maybe wouldn't be desirable in that situation anyway! ;-)

I looked at inlets with line filtering, too. I am not sure what sorts
of application require such filtering. It seemed to me that it would
not add a lot of benefit to a MOTM system.
