Hi Steven,
Hey, I’ve gots my favorite butter knife and a ball-peenhammer and knows how to use them so I ain’t afeared! ;-)
Actually I’ve done a lot of stuff in the past (DIY,Heathkit, DIY, PAIA, DIY, a little circuit design and I even brought a deadMinimoog and Synergy back to life once! ;-), but it has been many years since I’vereally done anything to speak of and I’m just getting back to it thisyear.
I was poking around and found these shots of a modified 100 butit's only the addition of the vibrato selector switch which is really obvious onhow to do. It's seems pretty obvious that adding the slew control wouldrequire extra circuitry not already on the board and probably not worth theeffort since I could patch into an external one etc. And I do likethe way it looks now! ;-) The one below may still be available for $110 unlesshis web site is out of date:

In fact, Marvin Jones (who is selling the MOTM 100) is probably wellknown to a lot of people in the DIY/modular synth communities! J
Thanks for the response.

My guess is that unless you'recompletely up to speed with performing the modifications involved (and I don'tknow what they are or if they're even feasible also), and have the parts andtools required on hand already, you'd be better served by selling the 100 andjust buying a new 101. I'm not absolutely sure about the market, but I'd betthere's someone out there reading this who'd be willing to pay a fair pricevery near to the price of a 101 for your bit of history.

same additional features as the 101 (assuming it's possible?)
Thanks!
John
