Subject: Wall-wart-style portable power

Hi all,

I just did a quick search in the archives without any luck - maybe it was just the terms I used. Anyways:

I've got a CGS pedal interface that I used to run my guitar to and from my Dotcom/MOTM modular. That's great when I'm just working in studio, but I'd like to be able to take the MOTM filters on-stage.

I've got a Dotcom (PowerOne) power supply and a dotcom harness, one of the leads of which feeds an motm-960, which then feeds my 7 MOTM modules.

Since none of the MOTM modules need digital power, am I right in thinking I could just pick up a regulated +/-15v power supply - wall-wart or whatever - and run that into the 960 and use that to feed the 7 modules?

Or perhaps I could get really DIY and just use a regulated wall-wart with screw-down posts on the outputs and bypass the 960 entirely?

Does this seem reasonable? I must admit I'm still a bit of a newbie when it comes to things like power supplies.

much thanks!
Matthew
