The thru-zero is ∗linear∗, as opposed to exponential on the Cynthia ZO.
So, it will have a different timbre to it. What iwill be more fun is the
Sine modulation routing is set up as 2-operator Yamaha FM. Using the
CGX, you can assing the AUX CV IN to change the index or the carrier
ratio and get all sorts of interesting sounds.

The CGX uses custom knobs that are not ar tall as the Frac knobs.
They do not have pointer lines. They are black with white endcaps.
The endoders use metric D-shafts.

Well, the issue is with Vishay/Spectrol. I may have to use either
Frac pots or switch to Bourns pc board mount (like in the MOTM-800).
Newark is now quoting over ∗$7ea∗ for the pots. Since ∗every∗ manufacturer
∗but me∗ is using 75 cent pots, this could be a problem for me trying to
keep the costs down. When the pots were $3-$4 I can take that, but not $7.

In the case of the '730 it was a mechanical fit issue.
