While your description seems correct, imho, the stock legend is
wrong. I should rewire mine when I get a chance.

In general, you can mult outputs, but you can't mult inputs. To send
several outputs to the same input you need a mixer. For example you
can send the output of one 190 to the inputs of several filters, but
you can't the output of several filters to the input of one 190
(without a mixer).

Now I'm confused :) You can get both to work, or you can't get both to work??

Mults work for audio. They also work for clocks, gates, triggers,
etc. Again, while there are exceptions, you can mult outputs, but
you can't mult inputs. For example, you can mult the output of one
VCO to several filters, VCA's, etc. without any problems.
