Subject: WTT: Wave Folder for rack rails and 100 USD

From: Suit & Tie Guy <erwill@...>

hello list,

i seem to be in a bind here. i'm in the middle of filling my
backlogue and getting a new product ready and i seem to have
misplaced one of my MOTM rack rails, and as you all know both are
needed to mount modules. i need to mount modules so i can test them
and burn them in, and i need to test them and burn them in before i
can ship them, and i need to ship them to make some very nice and
patient people happy.

if someone has a spare set of rails and module mounting screws, they
can get serial number one of a Wave Folder module for the rails,
screws, and a hundred bucks. i don't have a product page for this,
and i don't have photos yet (i just today found my camera. apparently
when i got a wheelchair i lost a wide variety of things) so it's not
ready for sale yet, but it _does_ work and i've got a dotcom format
version in the rack burning in right now for someone, and the one i'm
offering in trade here is already built.

IMHO it's a pretty cool distortion module. i'm not a connoisseur of
this type of processing though, so i can't really describe what it
sounds like other than "cool" and that the offset control is "really
cool" and kind of like a pulse width control for distortion, if that
makes sense.

the MOTM-format layout is in my LJ scrapbook. it's the one called
"wave folder":

if you're waiting on something from me, you'll get it soon. i broke
my ankle in december and it kind of messed things up for a bit, but
i'm catching up and can actually spend _more_ time in the studio/
workshop now.
