I used to mix standing up (a habit from doing live sound), but now I
do most everything seated. However, the way I have things set up
now, my MOTM is in rack cases on the floor, tucked under an extended
"Z" keyboard stand. I put a big shelf on top of it, where I keep my
Prophecy, TB-303's, and various pedals and such, and suspended over
that in the second tier, I have a TR-808 and TR-909 (I can operate
the 909 seated, but I it helps to stand to program the 808 as I had
to put it a bit more horizontal). Anyway, I can reach the MOTM from
the chair, but it is easier if I sit on the floor. I haven't tried
doing it in lotus position though :)

Happy New Year :)
