My bottom cabinet is a dot com double high slant cabinet, seen here:

Look at the photo. Notice the open space where end caps would go on the
top half. (See the SynthTech Logo end cap below, on the right.) That
big cabinet has one large power supply. The back is enclosed. I do
feel warm air emitting from the open slots at either end on the top
half. The single height cabinets above have had their backs removed, so
there is no concern about heat for those.
