Subject: Update/future Elhardt patchbooks

Ken & I are discussing possible MOTM patchbooks to be released late summer/early
fall.

He has brought up the point that in order to get the best sound, external
filtering and/or
signal processing is sometimes required.

I have been poking around various on-line music retailers (not eBay) and it
seems you
can get reasonable quality EQ and effects for less than 1 MOTM module :)

For example, here is a mono, 31-band EQ for $150.

For multi-effects, there are both Zoom and tc electronics units in the <$200
range.

So, I do not think that having such units used within the patchbook is a
'burden' on anyone.

If you have suggestions, lets discuss. The EQ needs to be <$150 and the effects
<$200 ∗retail∗.
I will assume Eventide Orvilles at $400 on eBay are also viable :) But let's
stick to retail ordering off the web.

This is an exciting week because the AudioEngine design will be ∗finalized∗ and
I will be able to start
laying out the pc board for the prototype/debug units.

I am shipping 15 MOTM 2.0 orders this week, a few MIDI-CV units for older orders
and a few assembled modules. I also have to ship the
second batch of frac modules to AH next week. BTW: if foreign users cannot get
AH to ship these to you, please contact me
and I can arrange to have them shipped overseas.
