When will the MOTM Analog Quadruple-Delay with Dual Cross-over Feedback be
available? Analog delays were mentioned before, sayeth the archives, but I
didn't find any official responce from the big Paul. :)
So what kind of features could be added to make it worthy of the MOTM
nomeclateur? (I must have slaughtered the spelling on that one...)
1) Multiple delay outs. (Perhaps this is more multi-tap?)
2) Multiple delay level / time settings. (One per out.)
3) Summed delay out. (Sounds like a certain filter module...)
4) Multiple feedback (instead of just from last "tap")
5) A selectable number of delays, with option for "until the cows come
home". Is this possible with analog, or just a digital thing? Make it work
along with the multi-tap. On second though, this would likely be repetative
of 4).
6) CV all over the place, so that delay times and what-not can be tweaked by
those 320s you're all playing with.
7) <fill in the blank with your excellent idea>
Now the bad thing is that all those ideas make for a whole lot of knobs. It
you've got 4 taps, each with a time / level / feedback... that's 12 knobs.
Plus at least 5 outs; one for each tap + summed.
Thoughts?
--PBr, wondering about the practicality of all this, vs that Line6 delay
modeler thingy...
