Subject: More MOTM stuff for sale

Some items I've put on eBay:

I also have two MOTM-320 modules, but when I built them I modded one
to double frequency, and one to half frequency. I normally always
keep my MOTM manuals and schematics, but I can't find the manuals or
schems for these. I have even forgotten why I did this, but my head
was somewhere else when I built these. Since I don't have schems I
can't put them back to normal specs. Nor do I have the inclination to
examine them side by side to figure out which tiny resistor (which my
old eyes can barely see) needs to change to put them back to spec.

I can't in good conscience offer these on eBay, since I always
guarantee the modules I built to perform to MOTM specs. Should you
desire a really.... slow ....L...F...O... or an LFO that can double
as a VCO (and tracks quite well), make me an offer. I've tested both
units on my frequency counter and one is half the specified range,
and one is double.

I accidentally sold one of these on eBay to a list member, forgetting
my mods (my first MOTM purchase was in the last millenium and trust
me, my memory wasn't the first to go) and when he complained, I
checked the other out to send as a replacement, and realized both
were off, so I refunded his money. Hopefully this list member is
still on here and can attest to this fact (sorry, but my level two
cache is write-only these days).

Lastly, I get a lot of eBay questions about why I am selling, and
whether I think MOTM is a good deal. I don't have hard data, but I'm
pretty sure my modules increased in value since I purchased them.
Also as an engineer, rarely does anything get created with a true "no-
compromise" design in the modern business world, and it is refreshing
to be able to purchase pretty much "military quality" synth modules
at a very good price.

My only reason for selling is that I am no longer a performing or
recording musician, and I have three kids that would benefit more
from guitar lessons, drum lessons, keyboard lessons, etc., far more
than me hoarding holy grail equipment. I know their love of music
combined with parents that actually might encourage a career in music
will take them further than I ever went.

Sorry for the long email,
Thomas
