Take a look at the regulators used and check their input voltage
range. Honestly, I don't know of any three-pin regulators that have
12 volts as a maximum, even the lowly 7805 in the TO-92 case (likely
what's on the A112) has a 35 volt max with built-in thermal and short
circuit protection. This device has a 100mA design rating. If it's
warm at 12 volts, it won't be much warmer at 15.
I've built and modded plenty of digital gear. Voltage changes of this
low magnitude seldom require any modification.
