Subject: RE: [motm] Last Kit - resistor values

I have a block of wood with two lengths of wire sticking up at an angle away
from me and about 1.5" apart. (I used S.S. welding rod) This sits on my
bench connected to an autoranging ohmmeter. Grab the resistor, touch it to
the two wires, read the value and stick it into a chunk of styrofoam with
the value marked with a sharpie.

Works great and you can sort through the values really quickly.

Dave (whose favorite programming language is solder)
