I have some apis also, if you realy want to use them for that sound, you will need to pad
the input and also the output, the api's are very hot on most things and you will not get
much evidence of the "iron in the path" utill the pre can be boosted. If padding the output
of your synth does not effect any of the dynamics for you then go ahead.
It would be kind of cool if there was a vco made with the api 2525 opamp, but might just
be another expensive module to make stuff a little noisier.
