a) you also need 2 MOTM-800s (EGs). One for filter modulation, 1 for the VCA. I
would get a '300 and a '310 VCO pair for PWM/FM effects. A MOTM-101 Noise/S&H is
good for random modulations.

b) MOTM-650 MIDI-CV is all you will ever need :) But if out of your $$$, it's
hard to beat a Kenton Pro Solo MKII.
