Ok, so last year I thought we might move to Seattle. Well, that
didn't work as planned and my lovely wife opted for a third year as a
post-doctorate fellow at U Penn. Now she's finishing her research
there and I'm almost finished being single grandparent to my fellow
MOTMer Malachi (he's 7, I'm tired). The major offers to Bonnie are
L.A. (lived there for 5 years...no), Seattle ("soft" money, no
guarantee of a real position, plus a high cost of living), Salt Lake
City (beautiful land, weather and lots of engineering jobs-just
interviewed at Harman Music Group-Digitech), or St. Louis (going there
in two weeks-keeping an open mind in the meantime, the the word
"humidity" stands out in my mind).

So...any MOTMers in SLC or St. Louis? What are your perspectives?
Now, to be fair, SLC would be my first choice. I can afford the
housing (it's much like where I am now in Cedarburg WI) and the land
is very beautiful. I've even got family in the vicinity.
