I agree with your comment about, Subotnik's "Silver Apples of the Moon". I have been listening to it lately and its kinda hard to listen to, though I really like the sounds. Its a good example of early electronic music when it was inventing itself. Toms glurpy tune is very dark, sinister, and it has some of that randomness that you hear in the old electronic compositions. Cool stuff for sure.
