For linear settings, the glide time is directly proportional to the input
step size. In other words,
the Up/Down knobs set a constant ∗slope∗. The voltages 'slide' along the
slope. The "time" given
is the time for a 5 volt step. A 0.5V step is 1/10th the time, etc.

For exponential, the time now approaches a ∗constant∗, independent of the
step size.
