Does anyone sell a MIDI controller (or even better, an analog controller -
I don't do MIDI) with joystick(s)? Unfortunately, the manufacturer of that
other modular system I'm using doesn't sell the
two-joystick/two-button/voltmeter controller except as part of a system
package (fortunately, it does include 1/8"<->1/4" multiple jacks so I can
use it with my MOTM). Joysticks rule (as any EMS owner will tell you), and
allow control possibilities that are impossible with knobs (at least
impossible to someone as uncoordinated as I). I guess a Korg Kaoss Pad
could sort of do the "2-D" controller trick (for MIDI users, at least ...
actually, the designer of said other modular system was using a Kaoss Pad
for fx processing of his EMS when he jammed w/us in Chicago a couple months
back).
