Paul had posted early last year that the price on such a unit, a sort of dream project, was $2.8k and I can only assume that that figure would be higher today.
I'd buy it because I know it would be one of my most utilized pieces of kit. And I think there's an audience outside the modular community for such a beast as well. I don't know how large that audience is, but judging from some of the prices the old vocoders are going for, it's there.
