When I said I had problems with theV-Drums, all I meant is that I have the same problems as everyone else as faras crosstalk and false triggers. Even ifyou put each pad on its own stand you get false triggers. I sometimes use real cymbals with drumpads. Hitting the cymbals causes falsetriggers.
My advantage is that I’m working ina studio setting. I edit out the falsetriggers.
I use to have a KAT head with Dauz pads. Same problem.
I would agree that crosstalk adjustmentsshould be front of panel.
I think the Roland TD-20 converts todigital then eliminates the crosstalk, and I wouldn’t be surprised if theAlesis does the same. Digital = Latency.
I think it may be possible to do thiswithout the trimmers, I just would have to think aboutit for a while and to run some tests.
Doing something with this is a possibleStooge Project, but right now, the stooges are busy trying to finish thewebsite and get brackets and flat rails and end caps and cables and panelshappening.
I will put this in my collection of moduleideas for consideration in the not too distant future.
