A vid capture of a BBC broadcast in UK only documentary of the
history and techniques of the famous BBC Radiophonic workshop (all
great BBC scifi and other elect. music for decades, including Dr. Who
ect) is available for streaming viewing (via win media player) or

Fantastic stereo sound! It starts with the history of electronic
music, that is music concrete-tape splicing ect and at the 40min
mark, the last section covers the arrival of synth gear..modular Moog
and EMS gear (vcs3, synthi 100's ect)..A surprise! A very rare short
appearence by then still Walter Carlos introducing his SOB modular
Moog..what makes this clip so rare is that Walter while dressed as a
man in a full suit and tie, clearly has a woman's hairdo and
obviously female face!..no doubt this was shot just before his final
surgeries, and after he had finished female hormone treatments..
But this is the greatest doc of the history of em i have yet seen!
MUST WATCH!
