I have a PCR-M80 and it will work just how you want it to. Itdoes not have to have a computer to run. It comes with a wall wartpower supply and a usb cable if you want to run it from a computer. Ithas velocity but no after touch. The key action is much nicer than allthose other keyboard controllers out there. Its not bad for the priceits worth.
