the 490's a pretty nice filter - nice and liquidy in the upper
resonance ranges.
but... in my experience it overdrives ∗super∗ easily, and pretty much
stops behaving like a filter - the resonance control does very little
and tweaking the filter knob gets kinda flanging effects.
i have to attenuate the output of my Oakley VCO a ∗lot∗ to get
regular filtering behaviour out of my (borrowed) 490. if any filter
needed input level knobs, and of course this doesn't have one :-)
is this normal behaviour? thanks....
