Greg,

Unless I'm mistaken, for #1, The MOTM 830 Audio/CV mixer is what you want.
And for #2, Tony Allgood (Oakley Sound) might still have some Control 3
boards available. I bought 2 to have a straight CV source in my system
like what you are asking for.

Subject: [motm] Attenuators and voltage sources

So now that I have been fiddleing with my modules for a bit I find the
need for 2 things:

1.- knobs to attenuate things like modulation sources. I could be
attenuating both CV or audio. Do I use log or linear taper pots?
100K OK? Any suggestions, circuits? There seems to be a bunch of
stuff oot on the 'net but I thought it would be a good idea to ask
fellow MOTMizers.

2.- a voltage source where I can get from say -5V to +5V with the
swing of a knob. I am led to believe that PS decoupling is very
important in this application. Any suggestions, circuits?

It makes me giggle a bit to realize that the complex things like a VCO
that tracks linearly from DC to 37.5 terrahertz is a slam-dunk but the
little niggly bits like cables and silly like tweaky circuits are
missing from my rig. Here is an icon to depict me giggling ---> :-P

PLL, BFG
