Subject: I have seen the future ...

Here is the problem: I have seen the future and it involves LOTS of
modular synth bits. And regardless of who I read aboot, they say they
have run out of space for their rig. Also, the future includes +5V.
Really it does.
So here is the plan: start nice and easy and get something up and
running at a reasonable cost, hopefully using parts that can be
cannibalised into larger designs in the future or sold off without
loosing all of their value.
So here is the question: currently I own or have on order only
modules that require +/- 15V. But I can tell that I will eventually
need +5V. Is the following solution feasible? Purchase a 5A Power
One +/- 15V linear supply now and add a small +5V supply at a later
date. Assuming that I connect the secondary grounds, will this be
electrically adequate to power the inevitable MOTM MIDI-CV module
purchase?
