Subject: possible solution to (part of) clicking bass?

So, not to bring up a nasty thread, but as far as I'm concerned there are 2
things at work with the clicking issue (for me anyways), but I'm going to
focus on 1 of them right now/
Some people are having problems with clicking due to chopped waveforms. One
of the suggested solutions is to increase attack time. Of course this might
cause the sound to be less 'punchy' depending on how much you hve to
increase the attack. Here's an idea (untested because I don't have my 110
right now)..:
Mult your trigger or gate signal to the sync in of the oscillator. In
effect (if I'm right), this will cause the waveform to start the the zero
point for each note (like some digital synths), which should completely do
away with clicking caused from chopped waveforms.
Thoughts?
