Regarding Doepfer to MOTM price comparisons, I think the point was that MOTM power supplies and racks aren't very expensive as a percentage of overall system cost. MOTM modules aren't cheap but the accessories are quite inexpensive.
Some of the comparisons here were about the same as comparing the price of a Kia to a BMW.
