Subject: Re: [motm] Module questions

I suspect that the Blacet and Equinoxe phasers sound similar due to theuse of OTAs. The Blacet may have a more radical sound at high resbecause all our knobs go to "12" --- ;>

A tip for getting a nice, different sound is to patch one of theoutputs into the res input.

UEG = must have

I just started building my modular in November, and it was the first
sequencer/envelope generator I got.  Great stuff!  Very versatile.  To
rearrange your quote a bit, I had such a pleasant experience buying
the UEG I'm going to give the shifter a go.  :-)

I don't know about the Equinoxe yet (I plan to buy a panel the next
time Larry takes orders) but I have three StonZ modules from John
Blacet.  (Two in frac-rack, one in MOTM format.)  Very nice...
