Here's something I was looking at:

have front and back lids. I talked to a guy there who said that they
could make the depth of the box itself shallower -- say 10" or 12" --
and reverse the latches so that the clasp part was on the lid and the
catch was on the box itself. Pull off the lid, and most of the clasp
hardware goes with it (the lid might end up being slightly deeper than
shown, if necessary to do this).
They'll do any number of spaces as that page suggests, and the price
for the customized box wasn't much different from what they list here
(ie, 11-space =$224 give or take a little).
