Subject: MOTM Orchestral Finale Dissected - mp3

From: elhardt@...
Date: 2004-09-01

Since I was asked by Peter Grenader if I could break down my MOTM orchestral finale so the different parts/tracks could be heard, here it is followed by a description of what you're hearing. For those who haven't heard the original, the original mp3 and info is at the end of this post. As can be heard, the individual parts don't need to sound so real in a situation like this. It's the overall effect of everthing combined that matters.

Original post:

Needs to be played loud and on good quality and detailed headphones or speakers otherwise the sound is muffled and ruined. Only 15 seconds long, but MOTM does massive sounding symphonic finale with strings, brass, and timpani, across 26 stereo tracks. Other equipment used was Roland SBF-325 stereo flanger/chorus, ART graphic EQ, and M-ONE reverb.
