The MOTM-850 pedal interface is the only "official" MOTM module that
can generate a gate signal of sufficient amplitude for your 2600 (I
get >11 volt out of mine). Plug your 5 volt trigger into the PEDAL
input, set the GATE knob somewhere between 0 and 5 (whatever works
best for you), and patch the GATE output to your 2600.
Using a 700 to switch in a DC signal will also work, I've done that a
few times, you won't wreck anything. But you still have to find a 10V
DC source.
