I'm driving a Carver PM-600 amp so I build an output module
specifically for it. I always want a foot pedal volume so I used one
of the Charlie Lamm / EDN VCA pcb's with separate gain and cv inputs
for left and right followed by an attenuator and capacitive coupling.

The module provides remote power control so the amp powers up with
the MOTM. This way I can drive mono or stereo with foot volume from
my MOTM-850.

I also designed and built tape output modules that convert the
signals to -10 dB levels with input, output, mix, and feedback
controls to interface to my Otari 4 track. I can use these signals
if I need line levels. This allows me to either record or have analog
delays for each of the four channels. Both of these designs are on
the ModularSynthPanels group under the 'DJB designs' folder.
