Heh - OK, OK, enough already! The guitar voices are very nicely done,
especially consider it's all Juno. Treat the signal path like a guitar
though, and there ya go, although good pitch bend technique is a must to
pull it off, which you've done.
I think everybody here already knows that "Southern Rock" ain't my
favorite genre of music, despite living in the South. In fact, I usually
have to hide from my gitar playin friends cuz I ain't lernt no Skynyrd
or Almond Brothers.
"WUT DA HELL IS DAT CRAP YOU LISTENIN TO?? BUG MUSIC??
CLASSICAL??? DAMN COMMUNIST, DAT'S WHAT YOU R!!! YOU
NEED SUM GOOD AMERICAN COUNTRY ROCK"
"Uh, well, country rock is based on the more traditional
country music, which has it's roots in bluegrass, which has
it's roots in the folk traditions of the British Isles
and Irish music, so it's not really all that American."
"COMMIE BASTARD!!!!"
Uh, yea, right....
Anyway, I was really hoping for your version of "Led Boots" from "Wired"
or something like that. Oh well.
As to the classical simulations, I think we all agree that nothing beats
the real thing, why does everybody keep yelling about this? - however I
think you're doing an amazing job. Tomita would be proud. Any idiot can
fire up a bank of Vienna samples, but it's ∗still∗ going to sound flat
if they don't figure out the correct playing technique for each
individual instrument. I like the fact that you're having some fun over
on the sample list with the sample heads there. They won't like you very
much once they find out they've been fooled, if they believe you...
