Some people just don't like what I call "music", I guess. That and
my studio/lab is - how can I say this - not always visitor friendly.
Right now I've got the SpeakJet module prototype wired up, a 15 volt
sheet beam tube modulator project sprawled over the bench, piles of
parts everywhere...it's a mess. The drumkit, two half stacks AND the
Engine of Chaos, oh and now the recorder and desk...it all sort of
makes it difficult to impress people that I'm sane, much less making
music!
Seriously, if ANYONE needs parts for some oddball project (no I'm not
giving away TL072's or other staples of MOTM-ism) please ask! I have
probably got it in spades, have it in the original packaging, and
already have a circuit designed around it. I'm not above bringing
home tons of parts for use "someday" that never arrives. Stuff just
comes to me, it's really sort of embarrassing. Don't bother
searching for esoteric germanium whatsits or funky antique knobs or
mica caps from the '30's - I have it!
It is not a bother to help out with projects, either. So many have
helped me, that I need to give back to others. Drop me a line and
help my wife clean out our home!
Chub- drowning in CMOS IC's.
ps- anyone need chips for those Dark Stars? Got two...
