well just for the record... I saw Robert Rich tour the US with his large MOTM, and we were his first stop from California to Scottsdale, Arizona... about a 7 to 8 hour drive... his MOTM is in a very large wooden Moog like case, about 20 units across by 3 rows tall or 15 space. It is not in any case, just 2 large metal handles on top  Robert and I were taking before the show, and he said, and I quote: "I didn't even have to tune the oscillators from the road trip, they are still in tune." end quote.

Now... that says it all for me...  Markk

Subject: [motm] Roadcase for MOTM

Anyone have experience using a roadcase with your MOTM
setup? Not touring the world... just back and forth
from the studio.

I saw a 14" deep 18 space rack with rack rails in the
front/back. Obviously, this would allow the power
supply to be mounted in the rear allowing for 3 rows
of MOTM and 3 spaces for a sequencer or voltage
regulator.

Does this shound reasonable - or should I treat my
MOTM like a vintage synth and NOT take it out and
record into a DAW at home and just take a CD into the
studio... i.e. instead of a $300 rack... buy a nice
Mytek A/D for 1K.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions!!!!
