> Below Zero
This is dark, moody, lots of "eerie" stuff.
> Temple of the Invisible
ZERO analog synth content.
> Humidity (3 discs!)
quiet, droney stuff.
> Inner Landscapes
Very early stuff, not my favorite
> Outpost (w/ Ian Boddy)
Now you're talking! About 60% MOTM. Still, a quiet, brooding set that
reminds me of a movie soundtrack.
Now, if you don't have the following, you NEED these!
Numena: the Prophet 5 in Just Intonation. Still my favorite CD.
Stalker: the CD that created "dark ambient". Very scary/moody/creepy
Gaudi/Propagation: a lot of fans consider these 2 as his "best works".
However, if you like his music played more as a background to another sonic
element, then I suggest:
Yearning: RR and a raga slide guitar (not a sitar, but sort of close). Next
to Numena, my #1 soldering music
Fissures: the RR CD where he perfected his lap steel guitar technique.
