If somebody out there knows the difference between a .dbx, .mbx and .idx files PLEASE contact me.

(trying to move all my mail folders from Win 98 to Win XP. XP wants these .dbx files, which
∗appear∗ to be an archive of ALL email. As I have almost 800MB of these .dbx files on the Win98
machine. But supposedly the .mbx files are the individual 'mail folders' but I can't see them at
all on the XP machine. I hate computers).
