OK, here are three more drawing with various options.

This one shows 0,3,7,10 on the 6 knobs, and the shift knobs have lost the +
signs:

This one has numbers only on the shift knobs (no + signs as well):

Good grief, here we go with a bazillion opinions.

IMHO, leave the + signs off all the numbers, even for the Initial Shift (I
think we can figure out that "8" means positive 8). Add numbers to the Fine
Shift knob. For the other 6 knobs, either leave the numbers off entirely, or
only use numbers that can be replicated the same on all six knobs (looks
like this would only be numbers 0,3,7,10).
