Paul,

If you like Passion, there is also Passion Sources, which is some of
the original music that Passion is based on. Since Eberhard Weber was
brought up who records on ECM (http://www.ecmrecords.com) there are a
number of other recordings from ECM you may find interresting. ECM
has a very good selection of progressive jazz with ethnic roots. One
artist that works with Peter Gaberial and is on both Passion
recordings is Shankar (not Ravi) who plays a double neck violin. My
favorite recordings of his on ECM are "Song for Everyone" and Vision.
He has a wide range of recording out there that vary from jazz, rock,
Indian and Indie Pop. You might also look at Michael Brook recordings
some of which are on Gabriel's Real World label.

Enjoy!
Jay

It can be old or new.
