Every year at this time, I blow $$$ on new CDs. These are CDs that I work to/solder to
('background music'). I need new suggestions!

Here are examples of what I ∗like∗

Eno: the 'ambient' stuff, not the guitar stuff

Enya (really!)
Pat Metheny
Steve Roach
Peter Gabriel: soundtracks

What I don't like: techo/'dance music'. No TR808/TB303 4/4 meter stuff. Don't get me wrong, I
like to ∗listen∗ to it every now and then. Need something "quiet". It can be old or new.

For example, on the CD player is Eno's "Apollo 13" soundtrack, followed by the Bud/Eno "The
Pearl".
