Subject: Hook-up wire

I use Belden #9921, which is 22ga, UL1007 listed. About $13 for a
100ft spool.
This is "the good
stuff". I get mine from Allied or Newark.

A cool little bench setup is Belden #8824, which is 8 different
colors of wire
in a little
dispensor, about $65.

I know folks like to dig wire out of dumpsters of salvage telephone
wire found
on the side of the
road. Not me.

FYI - I ordered the #8824 kit from Allied - it states however that it
is 20 awg! Man, did I again order the wrong stuff!
Just wanted to see if our "American Wire Gauge" standards are the
same...

I swear, I can order an unavailable/discontinued IC and actually GET
it - when it comes to ordering wire however....a-duh...I think I
still have several spools of Belden wire that can "only be used on
the Space Shuttle" - sitting around doing absolutely no good for me!
When will I learn ?!?!?!?!?!?

Cheerio,
