I use an Ernie Ball guitar pedal with my 850. It's a continuously
variable pedal. Plug it in to the 850 and I can generate a GATE
signal and a continuously variable voltage. Details and links to

I've used this with filters to create a wah wah pedal (see the last

The MOTM-850 is a LOT of fun, highly recommended.
