OK, I'm pretty much done with the I/O designs. Thanks for all the input, moving along to other
stuff.

Just to 'tidy up':

a) some folks question the "need" for these modules. Well, I take a notebook to NAMM every year,
and every time somebody ∗specifically asks∗ for a feature/module, I write it down. Guess what the
#1 most requested item was at last NAMM? I/O modules for use in the studio. It's easy to say
stuff like "make crazy/neat/really cool new stuff no one has ever offered before". Like it's easy
for me to say "write a #1 hit or an Oscar-winning movie theme".

b) I'm ∗perfectly aware∗ that there are lots of DI boxes, HOSA cable adapters and cheap Mackie
mixers that can do all of this. What's your point? MY point is that you can GIT RID of all that
stuff, and if you are using a SKB system, you can LEAVE THAT STUFF at home when you "play out".
And (hopefully), the MOTM versions are MUCH BETTER sound quality.

Just like the uSeq can be 'replaced' with a laptop and a MIDI-CV converter. I don't disagree.
But, you can do WITHOUT them.

c) Like a lumber company, you have to plant seeds 20yrs before you get the plywood. I have to
start looking NOW at modules that will ship later. And, I have to have stuff in the booth Jan.
15th for NAMM. This includes stuff "waiting forever" and brand new stuff. Yes, it's a vicious
cycle :(

d) The R&D, pcb, panel and test time for all 4 modules is less than 1/4 of the same for something
like the SEM filter. It costs me about $7000 to attend NAMM. Hopefully, these new modules will
help pay for that.
