well, you can do either or...

I have always used the modular mixers in the system, and routed to at
least 2 in my main mixing console both live and in the studio, although I
tend to add more in the studio. I dont follows rules very well, so the 10v
levels I dont pay attention to, plus I am not mixing CV levels at this point
usually just the audio levels... I love to do panning... and have stereo
patches... the VC switch module seems to be very well suited for this as
Paul told us that's how RR uses his in some of his patches... I have to get
some of those... oh where do I find the cash......

Paul, I did get rid of the Nerd Mod..... took a beating on E-scary....
LMAO, but oh well... can't decide what to buy now...??? The u600 ?? and
the 950... hmmm, pondering... I kinda have my eye on this thing called an
Electrix Repeater... RR used one live, and I can really see it's uses in a
live show...

hope that helps Andrew, sorry I was sidetracked in thought.

Hello all,
Since list traffic is a little slow today, I thought I would ask this
question:

How do you route the final output of a complex patch?

In larger patches, there may be three, four, or more "sub-patches"
contributing to an overall sound. How do you go about combining all of
the aspects of a patch like this?

Do you cascade a number of mixer modules to handle all the elements
of a patch, or (taking into consideration the 10v levels) do you send
individual patch elements to an external mixing desk? Both, perhaps?

Thanks,
Andrew Sanchez
