If you have ordered a MOTM-950 kit, you ∗will need∗ to buy a pair of "Mini-Grabber" test leads,
at least 18 inches long. This is because you will need to attach the DVM leads to pins on the
connector board of the MOTM-950 in order to adjust for +-15V output.

This is a "I need 3 hands" operation, which around AC power supplies plugged into the wall
(especially 240VAC) is what engineers refer to as "a very bad idea". I don't want any "DVM
leads-as-chopsticks" accidents happening! (this is what happens when you try to hold 2 DVM probes
in one hand while adjusting the trimmer with the other. I have had VERY BAD things happen then
this is tried).

Digikey parts numbers are:

Red, 18in long: 461-1051
Black, 18in long: 461-1050

Under $4ea. Beats getting third degree burns when your hand slips over the AC line.

These have banana plugs on one end. You take the DVM leads out, plug these in, and clip where the
manual will say.

Alligator clips are TOO BIG. Besides, these clip leads are great around the bench.

I will say this now, and I'll say it in the manual: if you are NOT CONFIDENT about doing this,
THEN DON'T! Buy assembled.
