Subject: More 410 discoveries

Playing with the 410 last night, I found it's a perfect processor for
Rhodes piano! With the depth at about 1/3 and a fairly slow rate, LFO's set
to double reverse and multiple outs panned 2 left, 1 center and 3 right, it
makes a gorgeous stereo phaser.

To anybody debating whether to put in R68(? whichever one is optional to
scale the input signal down), I built mine with R68 and have been running
external audio through it via pre-amps, either an ART Dual MP (simply the
best sounding pre-amp for Rhodes I've ever found) or from the direct outs
of my Mackie. These have no problem producing enough signal for the 410,
and this makes it more versatile 'cause you can run it on other MOTM. I
debated over this a lot as I was building it, and it turned out to be less
of an issue than I thought.

"...there will come a day when you won't have to use
gasoline. You'd simply take a cassette and put it in
your car, let it run. You'd have to have the proper
type of music. Like you take two sticks, put 'em
together, make fire. You take some notes and rub 'em
together - dum, dum, dum, dum - fire, cosmic fire."
